Fall Funnies

 These posts are getting fewer and farther between, but I have a few anecdotes that I just gotta share.

• Riley has created a BBB routine. What's a BBB? Oh well that's his Before Bedtime Bagel. :) You see, he gets hungry just about every night hours after supper, so this is is his solution. 
• Riley recently said, "I have a weird sixth sense where I can read a book and tell if it's good from the first chapter." 
• Maggie: "You know what amazes me? How wet a dog's nose can be? Chris: You know amazes me? The things that amaze you and what you think in that little head of yours. 
• Riley (talking at dinner about holding something with both of his hands and getting the words mixed up): "I can griply tight it."
• Maggie: "My lips are so dry I can hear them crack when I smile." :)
• Riley: "Mom, for my 13th birthday can I have a sleepover, well maybe just an 'over'...there's no real sleep gonna happen."
• Maggie: "Dad, for our Daddy Daughter date, we're going to sit on the TV and watch couch." 
• Chris: "Diesel fuel has more viscosity." Maggie: "Well, I don't know what that means, but your face is a monstrosity." (Maggie and Chris like to insult each other as a term of their affection.)
• Riley: "I don't like peanut butter on itself."
• Maggie: "I know what we can do on our hickey day." She meant "Hookey Day"...where the kids were going to skip school for a special event. 
• Riley: "I'm getting un-used to Maggie's straight hair."
