Here are some of our recent Fall Fisher-isms:
- Maggie: "Hey Mom, I got a joke for ya! 'My grandma always said the best thing about potato chips is the ....CRUNCH line!!' Get it??"
- Riley (while he was creating an online quiz game for us to play as a family using the site Kahoot): "Mom, you are going to be cute-ed out by the end of this Kahoot from saying 'Awww...that's so cute'!" He then proceeded to add lots of puppy pictures and make us guess the breed. I'll admit...I was pretty 'cute-ed out'! :)
- Maggie to me and Chris: "You need to stop consequencing me. You don't know how it feels."
- Me to Maggie: "I'm going to run you over to your friend's house." Maggie to me: "MOM! Don't 'run me over! That's rude!"
- Riley commenting on the cloudy, misty weather one morning: "It looks a little drowsy outside."
- Maggie trying to let us let her watch You Tube again...but it's not really working: "The reason I don't get 'corrupted' by You Tube videos is because I'm still childish and those things just don't affect me."
- Maggie talking to Chris: "So at the Mother Daughter retreat, they were playing a worship song and I looked up at mom and she tried to smile, but she couldn't muster it, so I got her a tissue and I had to walk in front of everyone and I was so embarrassed. But I did it."
- Riley talking about possible "Experience" type Christmas gifts that we could do this year: "Yeah, I'd love to see a Greenway play! I've never been before!" (He meant Broadway.) :)
