A Few Funny Fisher-isms

Here's a handful of the latest, greatest, funny Fisher-isms:

• Maggie has taken a liking to giving very long, drawn-out bedtime kisses. When Chris asked her why she was doing them, she replied, "I just love you guys so much. And I don't give you very many kisses during the day. And when you give me a kiss when I'm asleep, I can't give you a kiss back, so I just have to give you what I've been saving up." Doesn't that just melt your heart?
• Maggie has her own slang for her drive to school in the mornings. According to her the map should read something like this: "We go to our mailbox then we turn left and then we turn right. And we go past the beautiful tree in our neighborhood. Then we go through our neighborhood and then we go past the smudgy house. And we're there!" 
• Riley recently got his haircut at Sports Clips and I don't think he's ever going to go anywhere else. He got a hot towel treatment that he said was "so soothing." He said he felt like a V.I.K. (you know, a Very Important Kid). :) 
• Magster loves chomping on ice. Just the other day she made the comment, "Oh this ice is so refreshing in my mouth."
• Maggie has been doing a lot of coloring here lately and she likes to use a certain kind of marker that she calls "Super Tips." Sometimes they dry out from overuse. She noticed this the other night when I was coloring with her and said, "Mom, I can't use the blue yet. I'm waiting for it to charge up!" 
• A new family activity around the dinner table is telling jokes and Riley especially loves them. His most recent one in the car that he kind of made up himself was this one: "I know a guy with a wooden leg named Smith. And so I asked him, "What's your other leg's name?"
